Chalet Pelerin

A reimagined 1970s alpine chalet in the heart of the French Alps, Chalet Pèlerin blends reclaimed timber, carefully curated vintage pieces, and timeless mountain design to create a warm, authentic retreat that feels deeply connected to its surroundings.

Behind its traditional chalet façade, inviting interiors feature crackling fireplaces, original woodwork, and a thoughtfully assembled collection of antique art. Contemporary comforts include an indoor swimming pool, Finnish sauna, steam room, a terrace hot tub overlooking the Mont Pourri glacier, and a private media room. Evenings gather around the farmhouse table, where a local chef prepares seasonal Savoie-inspired cuisine, served with genuine hospitality by a dedicated in-chalet team.

Perched in a centuries-old farming village, Chalet Pèlerin offers an authentic connection to the traditions of the Savoie region while providing effortless access to year-round alpine adventure. Discover seven world-renowned ski resorts, heli-skiing across the Italian border, scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, and vibrant après-ski and nightlife. Spend your days skiing Sainte-Foy, rafting the Isère River, or trekking between remote mountain refuges before returning to the peaceful hamlet overlooking the Mont Pourri glacier.

Every stay is tailored by a dedicated team. Expert mountain guides lead each adventure, an accomplished culinary team crafts exceptional regional dining experiences, and a personal Experience Team seamlessly curates every detail of your itinerary.

For an unforgettable overnight escape, retreat to one of our three beautifully restored stone shepherds' huts, accessible only on foot, by bike or on skis. Hidden deep in the mountains, these secluded alpine outposts offer candlelit dinners, breathtaking solitude and an intimate connection with the landscape.

Dining at Chalet Pèlerin celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Savoie and the traditions of its close-knit farming communities. Ingredients are sourced from neighbouring farms, where fresh eggs, creamy Beaufort and artisanal goat cheeses are everyday staples. Seasonal menus showcase the finest local produce, with signature dishes such as velvety pumpkin velouté and perfectly grilled côte de boeuf, complemented by hand-foraged génépi and carefully selected regional wines. For a change of pace, cross into Italy to discover the distinctive flavours and culinary traditions of the neighbouring alpine valleys.

From the chalet’s prime location in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley, guests enjoy easy access to seven of the Alps' most renowned ski resorts: Sainte-Foy, Tignes, Val d'Isère, Les Arcs, La Plagne, La Thuile, and La Rosière.
