Is Verbier suitable for families?

Very much so. Gentle beginner terrain sits alongside the Four Valleys' more serious off-piste, so multi-generational groups can split off during the day and reconvene in the evening. Childcare, private instruction, and family-friendly dining are all readily arranged.

What makes a Verbier luxury chalet different from a five-star hotel?

Privacy, principally. At the level we operate, that usually means a private chef, dedicated host and team, and a level of discretion a hotel, however good, cannot offer.

Can I fly directly into Verbier?

Not quite. Verbier itself has no airport, but access is fast. Most guests fly into Geneva (approximately 35-40 minutes away by helicopter, or 2.5 to 3.5 hours by road) or Sion, the closer option for private aviation, which is a 45-minute drive or a short helicopter hop to Le Châble followed by a ten-minute funicular into the resort.

Are most Verbier chalets ski-in/ski-out?

Access varies by property. Some are genuinely ski-in/ski-out, while others a short transfer from the lift. We'll confirm this early in the shortlist.

Which chalets are best for entertaining?

The right chalet depends on the style of entertaining you have in mind. Some are ideally suited to intimate dinners with family and friends, while others offer expansive dining rooms, elegant reception spaces and dedicated staff areas for larger celebrations. Tell us how you plan to spend the week, and we'll recommend the properties that best fit the occasion.

Which chalets are best for privacy?

A number of our chalets are set away from the village and other properties, with access and sightlines designed for discretion. This is one of the first things we factor into any shortlist.

What can the concierge arrange?

Effectively anything required, from private chefs, ski guides, heli-skiing, childcare, spa treatments in-chalet, personal shopping, wine selection, private dining, and full event coordination. Guests typically arrive with a wish list; we handle the logistics behind it.

Can you organise everything before we arrive?

Yes. Before you arrive, we'll have arranged airport transfers, ski fittings, lift passes, instructors, childcare, restaurant reservations, grocery provisioning, spa treatments, private dining, wine selection, security requirements and any special celebrations.

Can our chef prepare kosher, halal, or medically restricted diets?

Yes. Our chefs are experienced in accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements, including kosher, halal, allergies and medically restricted diets. Requirements are discussed in advance and thoughtfully incorporated into the menu planning, ensuring every guest enjoys the same level of dining experience.

Is Verbier good for non-skiers?

Absolutely. Verbier offers far more than skiing. Non-skiing guests can enjoy the village's restaurants and boutiques, in-chalet wellness experiences, scenic winter walks, snowshoeing, private mountain guides and the beauty of the surrounding Alps. It is a destination where everyone can create their own rhythm, whether on the slopes or away from them.

Can we host a dinner party?

Yes. Our team can coordinate anything from an intimate dinner to a larger private event, including additional staff, entertainment, and catering beyond the standard service.

Can we bring our own staff?

Yes. We're used to working alongside a family's existing chef, nanny, or security team and will coordinate access and logistics accordingly.

Can you arrange heli-skiing?

Certainly. Verbier is one of the best-placed resorts in the Alps for heli-skiing, and it's among our most requested add-ons.

What is Verbier's dining scene like?

Verbier offers one of the Alps' most varied dining scenes, balancing traditional Valais cuisine with sophisticated contemporary restaurants. Guests can move easily between a relaxed mountain lunch of raclette or local specialities, a long afternoon at altitude, and an elegant evening meal in the village. Often all within the same day.

Are there Michelin-starred restaurants in Verbier?

Yes. La Table d'Adrien, at Chalet d'Adrien near the Savoleyres area, is Verbier's Michelin-starred restaurant, offering refined Italian-inspired cuisine with a strong focus on seasonal ingredients, exceptional produce and an extensive wine cellar.

What are Verbier's best restaurants for a special occasion?

Beyond La Table d'Adrien, La Grange offers accomplished haute French cooking in the heart of the village, while the Experimental Chalet's restaurant Frenchie, brings a contemporary edge to mountain cooking. For something with real history, Le Carrefour provides a more traditional Verbier experience, combining classic Swiss specialities with exceptional mountain views.

Can restaurants be booked privately, or reserved exclusively for our group?

Yes. Our concierge team can assist with securing preferred tables, private dining arrangements and special requests where available. For larger groups or celebrations, we can explore exclusive dining options and bespoke experiences.

Do we need to book restaurants in advance?

During Christmas, New Year and February half-term, the most sought-after tables can become unavailable quickly. We recommend sharing your dining preferences before arrival so reservations, dietary requirements and special occasions can be arranged in advance.
