The Monashee and Selkirk ranges hold some of the most consistent, low-density powder anywhere in the world, and this programme puts a private helicopter at the centre of every day here. Across a 300,000-acre tenure of glaciated alpine, old-growth forest, and legendary tree runs, guides read the mountains each morning and take you to wherever conditions are best — not a fixed itinerary. Select programmes carry no cap on vertical or flight time, and where weather allows, skiing continues right through to departure day.

No Limits, By Design

On our private programmes, there's no ceiling on how much you ski or how long the helicopter flies*. Across a tenure that spans high alpine bowls, glacier terrain, and stands of old-growth cedar, the day is shaped by conditions rather than a schedule. A private aircraft and a deliberately small group mean less waiting between runs and more actual skiing — the goal each day is simply to cover as much exceptional terrain as the mountain allows.

Built to maximise your ski time

Unlimited vertical and unlimited flight time allow your group to ski without caps or hourly limits*. Private heli access across the full 300,000-acre tenure means your group can move between alpine, glacier, and forest terrain within a single day without a vertical cap. Efficient airport access means arrival-day skiing is available, and departure-day runs are included whenever conditions cooperate. The trip is structured to extract the maximum from every day you're here, to make the most of every hour in the mountains.

Private Heli Formats

Unlike high-volume heli operations, our program is built around private helicopter formats. Your group flies with its own aircraft and dedicated guiding team, whether that means exclusive use of the lodge or sharing the property with one or two other private groups. The result is fewer delays, faster regrouping, and a day that keeps its own momentum.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ability level is required for heli-skiing? Intermediate to expert skiers comfortable in powder, trees, and variable snow will get the most from the terrain — which ranges from tightly spaced glades to wide-open alpine bowls across the full 300,000-acre tenure.

What are the different heli-ski booking options? Trips can be structured as a full private lodge buyout (up to 16 skiers), a private helicopter with shared lodge accommodation, or a semi-private package with individual rooms and shared flight time. Every format includes pre-trip planning, guiding, daily breakfast and lunch, and après — the difference is in group size, guide ratios, and how much of the helicopter is yours alone.

What happens if the weather prevents heli-skiing? The programme is built so a down day rarely means a lost day. If the helicopter can't fly, guides pivot to lift-accessed skiing at the local resort (tickets and mountain escorts included), along with alternatives like cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, or dog sledding. Any guaranteed flight hours not delivered during your stay carry forward as a credit toward a future season.

What helicopters do you operate? Flights run on A-Star B3 helicopters, the standard-bearer for power and handling in alpine terrain. Our pilots carry thousands of hours of dedicated mountain flying experience. Guests are equipped with high-performance Atomic skis and snowboards, along with the full complement of required avalanche safety gear.

What safety measures are in place for heli-skiing? Our operation holds accreditation under HeliCat Canada, the body that sets the safety benchmark for heli-skiing across British Columbia. Every trip is led by certified ACMG or IFMGA guides, kept to small guest-to-guide ratios, and backed by daily avalanche forecasting and seasoned mountain pilots flying top-tier aircraft. Each guest is issued avalanche safety equipment and takes part in a safety briefing before the first descent.

**For fully private Revelstoke Lodge heli-skiing programs, unlimited vertical meters of skiing and unlimited helicopter flight time are included for certain configurations, subject to operational safety protocols, weather, daylight, and group ability.

For private groups, a minimum of 1.5 helicopter hours per day is guaranteed; for double-private groups, a minimum of 2.0 helicopter hours per day is guaranteed. Flight time is averaged over the length of the stay and calculated using HOBBS hours, measured in 6-minute (0.1) increments.

Unlimited vertical allows guests to ski or ride as much as conditions safely permit, without concern for additional vertical-based charges at the end of the trip
