La Datcha Courchevel
Set at 1,850 metres, this chalet sits inside the highest and most established of Courchevel's villages, close enough to the pistes that skiing and snowboarding are a short step from the door.
The interiors move away from traditional chalet cliché without losing the material warmth that defines the genre; timber runs through the floors, walls, and ceilings, paired with furnishings built specifically for the space rather than sourced off-the-shelf. Upholstery throughout favors texture and depth, the kind of detailing that rewards a longer stay rather than a quick glance.
Across three levels, the chalet holds ten guests comfortably. Five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite, private wardrobe, and balcony, give every guest a genuinely private space rather than a shared one. The master suite alone runs to 50 square metres, with two walk-in wardrobes and a dedicated desk, a rare inclusion for guests balancing a ski trip with ongoing work.
Fabric choices carry through the same attention to detail; linen and jacquard for the curtains, silk and batiste through the bedrooms, leather and canvas in the furnishings, textures chosen to read as considered rather than decorative.
Location: Les Trois Vallées
The chalet sits inside Les Trois Vallées, the largest interconnected ski area in the world, with more than 600 kilometres of linked pistes. Roughly 85% of that terrain sits above 1,800 metres, which keeps snow conditions reliable from early December through late April, backed, on lower-snow days, by a network of over 2,100 snow cannons across the domain.
Beyond the slopes, Courchevel 1850 carries its own reputation, a concentration of designer boutiques and high-end retail that's become as much a draw as the skiing itself.
Spa & Wellness
The chalet's 1.4-metre deep indoor pool is built for post-ski recovery rather than laps, a place to sit rather than swim. A spa lounge and massage room round out the wellness offering, aimed squarely at easing the legs and shoulders after a full day on the mountain.
Getting There
Private drivers meet guests at Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble, Chambéry, or Courchevel airport, with transfer times ranging from thirty minutes to two hours depending on point of arrival. A private driver remains on call for twelve hours a day throughout the stay.
